Irene Urdangarin, following in the footsteps of her brother Juan as a volunteer: volunteering at the Red Cross

Irene Urdangarin’s sabbatical year began this fall. Her hospitality management studies at the prestigious École Hôtelière, in Lausanne, Switzerland, will have to wait. As we published, the daughter of Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin, who plans to get her driving license in Spain, is preparing to begin international volunteering. The destinations he is considering are Cambodia, Mozambique and India. Some photographs of Irene visiting the headquarters of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Geneva are proof that the young woman has already taken her first steps in her experience as a cooperator. She publishes it in the magazine Hola.

Irene has her brother Juan as a mentor, who would have suggested Cambodia to her because he himself was there five years ago with the foundation of Jesuit Kike Figaredo.
