Infanta Sofia will support La Roja alongside her father in Berlin this Sunday

Berlin will be the scene of the match between Spain and England for the lead in the European football crown. The German capital will be visited by the King Felipe VIaccompanied by his youngest daughter, Infanta Sofiato witness the dispute for the leadership of the old continent.

The monarch himself is confident that the team captained by Luis de la Fuente will take the lead. In fact, in his speech at the Princess of Girona Awards, he expressed his confidence in Spain’s victory: “It gives us hope, joy and security. It is this generation that we see here and there that makes me – makes us – have so much confidence in the future of our country.”He even made a mention of the Spanish goalscorer, “the flash of Lamine at 16 years old.”

At Sunday’s meeting, His Majesty the King and Her Royal Highness Infanta Sofía will meet with the Prince of Wales, who will come to support England, according to an announcement made by Kensington Palace. The Crown Prince, a great football fan, will be accompanied by the new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer; and Kate Middleton will be presiding over the Wimbledon final, which will be contested by Carlos Alcaraz and Djokovic.

It should be noted that this match will be the second that Don Felipe has attended in the European competition. The first was in the first phase of the tournament that pitted the Spanish National Team against Italy in the Gelsenkirchen stadium, which also ended with a victory for ‘La Roja’. Spain will play its fifth Euro Cup final and, if it wins, it will be the National Team that has won the most European tournaments. Specifically, four titles (1964, 2008 and 2012).
