The coach of Elche, Francisco Rodríguez, explained this Friday that he is leaving worried about the result, “pissed off and screwed” by his team’s 3-0 defeat against Levante and stressed that they cannot make the mistakes of the first two goals of the rival.
“This cannot happen to us. We can lose, but the team knows our reality and to get points it is impossible to make those mistakes in the First Division”, he said at a press conference.

“When I came I said that these mistakes were going to end and we were done and it really pisses me off and it can’t happen again. A team like ours cannot afford the luxury at the level of concentration of errors in the two goals”, he added.
The Elche coach added that all he wants is to apologize to the fans who had traveled to Valencia and to the rest of the fans. “Let’s get up and continue, that our people are going to get screwed and we have to return their commitment and affection,” he commented.
“Mentally we are very strong,” said Francisco, who ruled out that the game could take its toll on them because he stressed that Elche had been good on the pitch until Levante’s goals.
“It is true that until 2-0 the team was doing things well, with almost total dominance in the first half. An individual error condemns us at 1-0 and the same thing happens again with an individual error at 2-0”, commented Francisco.
