MADRID, 22 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish-Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria, the new UFC featherweight champion in mixed martial arts, will visit this Friday the facilities of the High Performance Center (CAR) that the Higher Sports Council (CSD) has in Madrid.
Already landed in Spain after having become the first Spanish champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Topuria will visit the CAR venue and then will have a meeting with the president of the CSD, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes.
On February 18, the Hispanic-Georgian defeated the renowned Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski in the octagon of the Honda Center in Anaheim (United States), after knocking him out during the second round.
