The life of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes to the movies. ANDThe Swedish star will star in an autobiographical film that will be released next year and that will tell two stages of the player's life. The feature film ‘I am Zlatan’ filming has started in Sweden and will end in the Netherlands.
Ibrahimovic's character will be played by two actors. Dominic Bajraktari Andersson will be the actor who brings the Swedish striker to life at the 11-13 years stage, while Granit Rushiti will play Zlatan at the 17-23 years stage. The film is directed by Jens Sjogren and is based on the book 'I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic'. According to sources from the producer Lucky Red, the Swedish striker has been actively involved in the project by providing advice during the recording.
Andrea Occhipinti, president of Lucky Red, said in statements reported by Gazzetta dello Sport: “Ibrahimovic is much more than a footballer: he is a pure leader, a legendary icon, a way of being that belongs only to him and that cannot be replicated. The history of this contemporary myth that in Italy has found its maximum consecration, could only become a great story for the cinema ”.
