Ibra-Milan: announcement in hours

He agreement between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Milan for the Swedish star to continue one more year in the red-black team is almost a fact. After many weeks of negotiations, only the signature is missing. Ivan Gazidis, managing director of the Milan club, declares himself “optimistic, we hope to conclude the operation shortly”. This is reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Everything indicates that the continuity of 38-year-old Ibra and that he returned to Milan in the last January market (after his time in the MLS Galaxy), will be announced in the next few hours.

Thanks to Italian taxation and after negotiations between the respective lawyers of both parties, Ibra will earn 7 million euros a year and Milan will not pay more than 10.5 gross. Fiscally, the former Barcelona player will become an Italian citizen.

In this way, Stefano Pioli, Milan coach, will be able to continue to count on Ibra's leadership on the pitch and off it. The coach only hopes that the signing of the attacker's new contract is now official to start working with the former Barça player.

The continuity of Pioli (although Milan had advanced negotiations with Ralf Rangnick) is one of the arguments that led Ibra, regardless of the economic offer, to decide to continue wearing red and black.
