“I know the power of nature”

It was last Sunday, July 14, when the Princess of Wales reappeared at Wimbledon, one of her favorite events, and ended up presenting the trophy to the winner, Murcia native Carlos Alcaraz. Days later, Kate Middleton left a message on social media that she shares with her husband. It is related to one of the causes she supports.

On the occasion of the opening of the new gardens at the Natural History Museum, she has retrieved a post from 2021 in which she appears with some children at the Natural History Museum. She accompanied the post with this message: “I support the Museum’s commitment to creating a special space that encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world.”

And she concluded the message with words that may well relate to her current situation: “I know the power of nature to support our development and well-being, both by giving us joy and by helping us stay physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.”

It was last March when, through a video on her social networks, she revealed that she has cancer. She underwent abdominal surgery in January, which the British Royal House did report. As she explained, it was later that she was finally diagnosed with cancer. She assured that she did not tell them before thinking about her children. To this day, the institution has not revealed the type of cancer that Charles III’s daughter-in-law suffers from. The king, for his part, also suffers from cancer. His health problems became known practically at the same time, marking one of the most difficult years for the British crown. While the sovereign resumed his public agenda in April, Kate reappeared at Trooping The Colour on June 15 and for the second time this Sunday, at the tennis Grand Slam.
