The Barça club facilitated the transport, thanks to aagreement reached with Vuelingof 2,500 kg of medicines, small surgical instruments, baby food and diapers, and personal hygiene products, material provided by Sepla Help. After the arrival of the plane from Barcelona-El Prat Airport to Warsaw-Chopin Airport on Saturday at 7:15 p.m., a total of 111 women, 88 children and 14 men Ukrainian refugees, In addition to 13 pets, they embarked to set course for Barcelona. A delegation from SD Huesca traveled to Warsaw to carry out a tracing of the flight and provide medical assistance to the displaced thanks to the presence of Juan Eito, chief doctor of the Barbastro Hospital Emergency Service.
The club wants to show its solidarity with the Ukrainian people in this conflict and in the humanitarian crisis, with an action that complements other initiatives launched such as the collection of material in El Alcoraz by Transporte Callizo, or, symbolically, the photo of the starting eleven of the first team in each game wearing the colors of the flag from Ukraine.
