Huesca achieves a balsamic triumph at the expense of Burgos

Huesca achieved a soothing 1-0 victory against Burgos this Friday thanks to an own goal by Rubio in the 22nd minute that condemned the Burgos team.

Both teams showed signs of lack of confidence and not being in a good moment in the first minutes of the match and that translated into a slow and boring game.

Huesca had their first goal scoring opportunity in the 18th minute, when Ignasi Miquel didn’t score because Rubio took the ball out as it slipped into the Burgos goal, but four minutes later, a Pablo Martínez cross cleared Rubio into his goal. and put the local team ahead.

Burgos tried to react timidly and at the end of the first half Huesca had a very clear chance with a cross from Marc Mateu that Seoane was unable to finish off with a header, only in front of Caro’s goal.

At the beginning of the second half, Burgos took more of the initiative but did not have depth. In the 65th minute, Marc Mateu had a good chance to score, but failed to put the ball into Caro’s goal.

Huesca against the pressure of Burgos, gave ground and fell back a bit, but at no time did the Castilian team show signs of danger against the Barça defenders and the local team took all three points.
