It will be on August 29 when the son of Rodolfo Sancho discover the judge’s verdict and although the scenarios include a possible death sentence if the Thai justice system considers that it was a premeditated crime, his defense is confident that he will be convicted of involuntary manslaughter and that within a maximum of eight years he can return to our country.

A few days after the court verdict, Rodrigobrother of Rodolfo Sanchohas revealed that they are nervous but hopeful: “Rodolfo is full of optimism, which is good. And he is with his family, which in itself is good.”he said on Thursday, acknowledging that despite his strength, these are difficult days: “Imagine how he is experiencing it…”. Of course, the smile is always present: “Hope, which is the last thing to be lost. Hope for the most favorable sentence possible. At least not the most serious, but the most forthcoming.”he added, revealing that “the idea” and “the hope” is that Daniel can return to Spain as soon as possible and that “his grandmother, my mother, can be closer to him.”

She also confirmed that Rodolfo will travel to Thailand to be with his son when he hears the verdict, while the rest of the family “will wait here for the result and then adapt to what comes.” Communication with Daniel is not easy from Spain: “I spoke to him at the very beginning, but communication is not easy because he has limited video calls. My brother is the one who speaks to him the most. And my mother from time to time,” she revealed.

Despite being more talkative than ever on Thursday, Rodrigo did not want to go into certain issues, such as the complaint of abuse that Silvia Bronchalo filed against Rodolfo and which was finally dismissed by the judge: “My brother has always kept a low profile, he should answer that because I am not really in his place.”
