Hertha, eliminated from Pokal by a third

The Germany Cup staged this Friday a nightmare for Hertha Berlin, defeated 5-4 by the Eintracht Braunschweig, of the Third division, and confirmed the predictable classification of Mainz, who thrashed 1-5 at TSV Havelse, four categories down, to advance to sixteenths.

The night was unbearable for him Hertha, which in a quarter of an hour lost 2-0, due to an accurate free-kick and an unfortunate clearance from a corner kick. Although he was able to return everything to plan, with the 2-2 before half an hour, he still had many surprises to the game.

The first, on the brink of rest, with the rejection of the penalty that meant 3-2 for him Eintracht Braunschweig; the second, with Hertha's 3-3, when his opponent was able to add two more goals (5-3) and to seem like an insurmountable wall for the Berlin team; and the third and final with the elimination by 5-4.

Nothing to do with him Mainz, who resolved his pass by 1-5, although his rival went ahead first. His five goals were in the second half.
