The Royal Spanish Federation (RFEF) has appointed the referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández to deliver justice in the final of the Copa del Rey, which Real Betis and Valencia will play this Saturday at the La Cartuja Stadium.
The Canarian referee will be assisted by José Enrique Pérez Naranjo and Raúl Cabañero Martínez as line judges, while César Soto Grado will act as fourth referee. The role of video assistant referee (VAR) has been assigned to Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, who will be accompanied by Roberto Díaz Pérez Del Palomar and Pablo González Fuertes.
Hernández Hernández, 39 years old and who will referee his first cup final, has directed a total of 23 official matches for Valencia with a balance of 7 wins, 7 draws and 9 losses. For its part, Betis has added 8 wins, 7 draws and 11 losses in 26 games refereed by the Canarian.
