“He made them have a hard time”: the other confrontation between Ana Obregón and Antonia Dell’Atte that was not counted

Intimate enemies since Alessandro Lequio left Antonia Dell’Atte for Ana Obregón in the early nineties. The rest is history. Decades of public reproaches through magazines and television sets. The two called a truce a few years ago, for the sake of their children, Clemente Lequio and the late Aless.

It was the year 2016. January 5th. “Ana Obregón and Antonia Dell’Atte, the most unexpected reconciliation”, on the cover of the magazine Hola. The two posed, united, as if nothing had happened. As if they were capable of forgetting everything that happened between the two of them.

The waters seemed to be calm now. However, in September 2019, when the young Aless Lequio was already fighting cancer, his mother premiered on Masterchef Celebrity. The presenter was the first expelled, but later she was reinstated and the production led to the television reunion between Ana and Antonia, who attended as a guest for having participated in previous editions.

At the beginning of the program they gave each other a hug that they described as historic: “Everything’s fine.” They said to each other. Later, Obregón prepared a set and the Italian had to try it: “Is there no poison?” She told him. “No my love, it’s spicy. Why would I poison you? Not crazy.” Antonia positively valued Ana’s pasta and left messages between the lines: “It is never too late. Here we are passing through this world. Therefore, we all get along well.” And Ana answered: “Go ahead, listen and learn.” Boris Izaguirre, candidate, was overwhelmed with joy: “What more do you want? They are giving advice 30 years later.”

Back then everything seemed in order, but this Sunday in Fiesta Beatriz Cortázar has given some details of the ins and outs of that “famous cooking show”: “Antonia made him have a hard time [detrás de cámaras]. Ana told me”. The journalist has insinuated that all that glittered that day was not gold. On the set, in fact, they have added that if one day they were “reconciled” it was because of their children, but not because of a will true.

Dell’Atte herself has entered Emma García’s program on Telecinco after a call from journalist Aurelio Manzano. “You have misunderstood me.” He refers to the controversial post he published a few days ago, after the news of Ana Obregón’s surrogate motherhood in Miami at the age of 68: “I like Miami. It’s so big that you can avoid meeting pathetic and unbearable people and above all selfish and egocentric”.

A day later and after the commotion that his words generated, he assured that his message was not going to Obregón: “He is not addressed to anyone and even less to whom you have named,” he stressed. In 2020, after the death of Ana and Alessandro Lequio’s son, they also staged a great controversy as a result of the Italian’s reproach that her son, Clemente, had not been “invited” to his brother’s funeral in Madrid .
