having tapas with his third-year classmates

The Princess Leonor Princess of Asturias entered the Naval Military School of Marín in Pontevedra on Thursday. In her first days on Galician soil, the heir to the throne has already received the insignia of distinguished student and has participated in an inter-brigade sports competition, where she emerged the winner. In addition to fulfilling her first tasks at the school in Pontevedra, the Princess of Asturias has already enjoyed her first free afternoon with the rest of her classmates.

This Saturday, the eldest daughter of Felipe VI and Doña Letizia went with a group of five other classmates and nine third-year classmates to the D’Elvi restaurant, located in Meira, as reported this Sunday by the magazine WeekAt the restaurant, Leonor enjoyed views of the Vigo estuary and excellent Galician cuisine.

On her first free afternoon, the sister of Infanta Sofia and her friends ordered snacks based on squid, omelette and croquettes. For the main course, they had grilled meat, according to reports. The Lighthouse of Vigo.

Despite being on her free time, the princess and her new companions arrived at the establishment wearing the white uniform of the Special Army (without the buttoned jacket or its corresponding cap).

Delighted by the surprise visit from the heiress and the rest of the members of the School, the restaurant workers asked them for a photograph to immortalize the moment. “Thank you for choosing our house, as always lovely“, they have indicated from the premises on their social networks.

The visit of the Marín students to this restaurant is not a coincidence. The young people eat at this establishment as a “tribute” to the first time they went, in 2020.

This first afternoon of leisure for Princess Leonor came when a real Bourbon Conclave was taking place in Madrid for the wedding of Victoria López-Quesada. Although several members of the royal family attended (we highlight the image of the monarch with the Infanta Cristina), Queen Letizia was absent because she was in Paris cheering on the Spanish athletes at the Paralympic Games.
