The conflict between Frank Cuesta and Yuyee Now Zape, his eldest son, joinswho has spoken openly about the conflict between his parents over the sanctuary that the herpetologist uses in Thailand to help local fauna. “My father is not a saint, we all know that. There is nothing he has done that can justify what my mother is doing right now,” said the Casalarreina CF footballer in a chat on Javi Oliveira’s YouTube channel.
Frank Cuesta revealed last week that his ex-wife had been demanding 3,500 euros a month to maintain the sanctuary that legally belongs to her, since he could not put it in his name at the time because he is not a Thai citizen. The actress herself and her boyfriend, Chris Korn, went so far as to file a complaint against him, which forced them to reach an agreement: Frank would pay his ex 250,000 euros in four instalments. “It’s not something I want, nor do I think it’s fair, but in the end I will pay for it. He has taken advantage of the situation, of the fact that I cannot lose this sanctuary.”he explained in X. An outcome that his son does not support at all, as he believes that his mother is influenced by Korn.

Zape, whose real name is Félix, says in his interview that his mother should be more decisive: “I would tell her to have a little bit of personality.”. “Stop listening to what your partner and friends are saying because they weren’t there when we were in the shit. The ones who were there were my father and I, they ran away like cowards,” she says in relation to Yuyee’s imprisonment a few years ago. “I don’t think he (Frank) did anything to deserve this, I can’t think of anything,” she adds.
Zape doesn’t live in Thailand, but he likes to travel there and spend time at the sanctuary with his father. With his mother, however, he keeps a distance. “For me, that place is very beautiful, something my father has always wanted, he has always wanted to have something like that. A couple of years ago he bought the land, set it all up and he is very happy there. My father’s dream is our dream. If he is well, we are all happy.”he explains in the live broadcast, revealing that he found out about the situation about four or five months ago.
“It’s nothing new for me. I’ve had a lot of time to think about it and mull it over. It’s something that really annoys me. Personally, I have never had a very good relationship with my mother. It has all been very complicated for a long time but I never thought I would do something like this. I didn’t expect it at all. My father has always given everything, he is the least materialistic person in the world, he has paid for everything, we have not had problems with money because he has helped us all, but especially her. It is something very, very strong,” she explains.
Zape says that she doesn’t understand why Yuyee behaves this way if the presenter has fought so much with her. A few days ago she had a fit of rage on her social networks, where she wrote the phrase “betrayal is paid with betrayal.” However, she later regretted it and deleted the message: “I deleted it quickly because it wasn’t nice to put on Instagram”.
