Harry Kane will have a tear in the hamstrings and will be on leave until April

MADRID, Jan. 9 (SportsFinding) –

The English soccer player Harry Kane, striker of Tottenham Hotspur, will undergo surgery to treat the tear he suffers in the hamstrings and will be on leave at least until April, as confirmed by the London club on Thursday in a press release.

“After a continuous evaluation by our medical staff during the past week, we can confirm that Harry Kane will undergo surgery to repair a rupture in the left hamstring,” Tottenham said on his website.

“The forward suffered this injury last week during our Premier League game against Southampton and specialists have advised surgery after further review,” the statement added.

“It is not expected that the decision to undergo surgery will affect the period in which the captain of England will be absent, with the expectation that he will return to training in April,” said the note, referring to the tear that Kane suffers in the hamstrings.
