The Spanish swimmers Guillem Pujol and Jimena Pérez conquered this Monday the 114th edition of the Nadal Cup, held as usual in the Port of Barcelona on the morning of Christmas Day, according to a test that established its new record of participants with 427 registered people.

In the absolute men's category, Pujol successfully defended his title from last year and, after completing the 200 meters of the course in 2:17, won for the tenth consecutive time. In addition, the CN Mataró member equaled the historical record of Olympian Dani Serra, who achieved 10 victories between 1984 and 2013.

For her part, in the absolute women's category, Jimena Pérez (from the host CN Barcelona) reached the finish line with a time of 2:29 and thus won a race with a historic participation rate. 132 swimmers took part, surpassing the mark of 129 who competed in 2022.
