Pablo Guede has already taken command at La Rosaleda. The new Málaga coach will direct his first work session at the head of a squad from 10:30 am from which he must extract a much higher performance than the one he has been showing for more than four months.
The Argentine coach knows that he is facing a very difficult challenge. The team offers notable shortcomings in both areas and on a mental level he has shown significant fragility and lack of personality. In addition, there are internal differences in the locker room that must be tackled for the collective welfare.
The coach already had the first contact this Sunday at the blue and white stadium with the members of his new work team, in which Bravo will be as assistant coach. In the afternoon he witnessed the subsidiary’s victory live.
This morning, before before the session, he had the first shot of contact with the footballers, with whom he has met for more than half an hour to outline what he expects from them in this season finale. Then he got down to work on the lawn of the Annex with his mind set on Saturday’s very tough match against Valladolid, second classified and a firm candidate for promotion to First Division.
The official coming-out of Pablo Guede as the new coach of Málaga until June 2023 will take place this afternoon, starting at 1:30 p.m., in the La Rosaleda press room. Next to him will appear the sports director, Manolo Gaspar.
