MADRID, 14 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Atlético de Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann suffers a muscle injury in his right thigh that will force him to undergo physiotherapy and be out for an indefinite period of time until he can return to the pitch.
“The French striker has undergone an MRI at the University of Navarra Clinic which has determined that he suffers a muscle injury in his right thigh,” Atlético de Madrid announced in a statement.
Griezmann had to be replaced at halftime in the derby against Real Madrid (2-0 loss to the Whites) due to annoyances resulting from a couple of actions during the clash. The Frenchman will begin to receive physiotherapy sessions, rehabilitation training and is “pending evolution”.
