Granada thrashes Albacete and sleeps in the ‘play-off’

MADRID, 18 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Granada sleeps in play-off positions this Thursday after beating Albacete (4-0) at Nuevo Los Cármenes, in the duel that opened matchday 16 of LaLiga SmartBank, and returned to the path of victory, after three games without doing it in the domestic championship, in the debut of Paco López at the helm of the Nasrid bench.

Boyomo’s early expulsion in the first half condemned Rubén Albés’ men who, although they endured the entire first half, were not enough after the return from the changing rooms. First with Callejón’s goal after a lateral cross and later with a second expulsion, in this case by Álvaro Rodríguez, who ended up deciding the game.

Granada, with a clear numerical superiority, was a roller for the people from La Mancha who, powerless, watched as the Nasrid team passed over them. Goals from Ricard and Bryan sentenced the match with ten minutes to go, but bad luck ended up taking over the visitors when, almost 90 minutes into the game, Glauder scored the final 4-0 on his own goal.
