MADRID, 21 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Granada became the new leader of the SmartBank League this Saturday after beating Racing de Santander (2-0) in a match on the second day, while Sporting opened its victories at the expense of the newly promoted Andorra (4 -1) thanks to the leading role of Djuka, bigoleador in El Molinón.
At Nuevo Los Cármenes, Aitor Karanka’s team demonstrated the reliability that is required of a candidate for promotion. The Andalusians repeated the figures of the first day to leave the 3 points at home and lead the category tied with Alavés. Callejón, with a header after a pass from Melendo, and Uzuni, in added time, scored the goals.
In addition, Abelardo’s Sporting experienced its first great afternoon of the season with a comfortable win that served to place the Asturians in third provisional position. The newly renewed Djuka scored two goals and Carlos Izquierdoz sealed the win with an hour to go. Aitor García signed the party of the Asturians.
For its part, Levante did not pass the goalless draw against Zaragoza and accumulates two days without adding the victory. Mehdi Nafti’s men couldn’t find their way to a goal in a Romareda who doesn’t know what victory is at the moment either. Albacete and Burgos harvested the same result in the other game this Saturday.
