Getafe CF reached an agreement this Saturday with Cagliari Calcio to transfer Czech midfielder Jakub Jankto, who will play for the Sardinian team until June 30, 2025, with the option to extend his contract for one more season.
“From the club we appreciate his dedication and professionalism with the blue shirt, and we wish him luck in this new stage of his sports career,” Getafe himself said in a brief press release.
Jankto spent last season on loan at Sparta Prague, with whom he played 16 games and scored one goal, winning the league title ahead of Slavia Prague. At 27, he has 45 appearances, four goals and 11 assists with the senior Czech team.
