Getafe announced this Monday that it will make a donation of medical supplies to Ukraine “in solidarity with the situation in Europe” due to the conflict started by Russia, according to a club statement.
“In solidarity with the situation in Europe, the Getafe Football Club has made a donation of medical supplies to Ukraine,” reported the ‘azulón’ team.
The Madrid team explained that the items, especially surgical instruments, have been sent through the Spanish Association of Soccer Team Doctors. “This action responds to the requirement of the needs of the doctor of the Ukrainian soccer team,” the statement concluded.
