Gerard
Brown, author of the only goal for his team in the defeat against Barcelona by 1-4, has reached sixteen goals this season, which has equaled the best scoring record of his career in First
Division.
The Catalan attacker, who has served two hundred games in the top flight, has achieved this figure in the 32 games he has played, thirty of them as a starter, but he still has four days left to overcome this figure.
The international player had until now as a personal record the sixteen goals marked with the Espanyol shirt in the 2017-2018 season although he then played in the 38 league games.
Gerard debuted in First with Villarreal in the 2014-2015 season but the following season he was transferred to Espanyol where he stayed for three courses –2015-2018– before dressing again in yellow last season.
