Uruguayan international Fernando Muslera will not be able to play for at least the next six months; that is, half of the 2020/21 season will be lost. One of the three candidates is Beto, the former Sevilla goalkeeper who has been wearing the Turkish Goztepe shirt for three years. His contract ends at the end of the season and he has not reached an agreement so far for the renewal with his club. Beto told AS that he heard many things from the interest of Galatasaray, in addition to another from Turkey, Besiktas., but nobody called him in the last days.
Galatasaray's other option is Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico. Rico has been on loan at PSG since the start of the season. The Spanish club does not have him for the next campaign.
Galatasaray and Seville have a good relationship due to the exchange of footballers in recent years. Brazilian midfielder Fernando was traded from Galatasaray last summer and the Turkish club signed Mariano, the Brazilian right back, in the summer of 2017.
