The Italian player Gabriele Procida (ALBA Berlin), 21 years old, is the new ‘Rising Star’ of the Euroleague 2023-24, an award for the revelation player that goes to a player from the German team for the first time thanks to the good season he had by the Como guard-forward.

Procida is the third Italian to win the award – after Andrea Bargnani (2005-06) and Danilo Gallinari (2007-08) -, achieved with the vote of the Euroleague coaches and surpassing the rest of the players under 22 years.

“From extraordinary dunks to long three-pointers, with great versatility and very good intensity.
