Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero was proclaimed champion of the First RFEF of women’s futsal this Saturday after beating Pescados Rubén Burela (6-3) in the second leg of the final, after both teams drew in the first leg last Wednesday in Galician lands (2-2).
The Madrid team, who were leading 3-2 at the break, were not compromised in the second round and certified the title in front of their fans with a definitive hat-trick by Irene Córdoba. Ari, who signed a brace, and Anita Luján also scored. Despite Burela’s efforts in the final stretch with game five, the scoreboard did not move.
In this way, Atlético Navalcarnero once again proclaimed itself champion of the league two years after the last title won in 2019, to which it adds those achieved in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017. It is the sixth in its history and the second title of the season for the Madrid team after winning the European Women’s Futsal Tournament last December.
