Fuenlabrada holds the tie in inferiority

Fuenlabrada achieved a tie that worked, outnumbered for almost an hour, maintaining the tradition of not losing to Ponferradina in the Second Division.

The Bercianos added their fourth day without winning, losing the opportunity to reach the place of direct promotion and the third game where, in numerical superiority, they did not know how to take advantage of the circumstance.

The game began with a tremendously closed stage, without spaces and with a very tactical game full of precautions on the part of both teams without dangerous arrivals in either area.

Deportiva ended up giving the ball to the rival, also more physically powerful, but without generating too many offensive actions, while the locals relied on their cons to try to surprise.

In fact, in the 35th minute, a shipment looking for the back to the Fuenlabran defense was controlled by Dani Ojeda, but when he faced Altube, Pedro León arrived to bother him enough and that his shot was against the side of the net.

Before the break, a decisive double action would arrive, first with Pedro León’s Olympic corner kick, which Amir Abedzadeh took out with great difficulties and in the later exit with José Amo’s ball he arrived too thrown and took the Sevillian ahead watching the second yellow.

After passing through the changing rooms and once José Luis Oltra was able to design the strategy to respond to the numerical inferiority, he gave entry to Pina instead of Zozulya, leaving only one player in the lead, Kante.

The defensive network of Oltra’s team did not suffer excessively with a Ponferradina that tried to pull with patience, but without enough clairvoyance to create danger, except for a centered shot from Zalazar.

Little by little, Fuenlabrada was getting more comfortable and, on the other hand, the locals were more anguished, who reactivated with a shot, the first of the second half, by Agus Medina elevated and, moments later, the one who finished off was Kike Saverio finding the stick.

José Antonio Ríos Reina’s back corner kick forced Altube to draw a hand at the far post and Yuri, in the rebound, sent against the side of the net.

The opportunity would be close again to break the level of Deportiva with a tempered center from Agus Medina that Dani Ojeda combed and the ball, after hitting the post, went into the hands of the visiting goalkeeper.
