Fuenlabrada has just made official the signing of Álex Mula, one of the great talents of the Smartbank League. The 24-year-old footballer from Barcelona had a contract with Malaga until 2021 and last season was not easy for him since he was not registered at the beginning of it by Malaga due to his problems with the salary limit. In January Mula signed for AD Alcorcón where he became a permanent fixture for Fran Fernández. With the yellows Mula played 15 games, starting 12 and scoring two goals and giving two assists.
Mula was a sought-after player in the Second Division market. Leganés and Fuenlabrada had laid their eyes on this footballer with great dribbling, good hitting, control of both legs and very fast in handling the ball. Finally it has ended up taking the Fuenla. “I am very happy for this new stage in Fuenlabrada. It is a beautiful challenge and I am eager to give it my all on the field to enjoy a season that will be exciting, “said the player who has signed four years with the Malaga team.
The Barcelona-born footballer is Fuenlabrada's second signing this summer after striker Abou Kanté, who was confirmed this afternoon.
