Fuenla traveled to A Coruña without knowing the result of the last test

The Fuenlabrada expedition traveled to A Coruña without knowing the result of the last tests, that was done the same Monday in Madrid before leaving for the Galician city, although it did not breach the LaLiga protocol because tall those who moved had tested negative in the previous three tests.

The LaLiga protocol establishes that the teams A test must be done the day after a game and another 48 hours before the next. Fuenlabrada, like the rest of the teams, played on Friday against Elche, so the corresponding PCR tests were carried out on Saturday.

There, different anomalies were detected in the results, so on Sunday morning two tests were repeated, the PCR and the rapid test. The latter were negative. The results of the PCRs were known in the afternoon and there it was confirmed that three members of the coaching staff and one player tested positive for COVID.

Monday morning, before traveling, new PCR tests were performed. All players and the coaching staff moved to A Coruña, except for the positives registered the previous day. It was around six in the afternoon, at the hotel where they stayed, when the results of the morning test were known, which confirmed eight more positives: six from players and two from members of the coaching staff.

LaLiga's intention is that the match between Deportivo and Fuenlabrada be played as soon as possible.
