Fourth Super Cup for Burela after defeating Futsi Navalcarnero

Fourth Spanish Women’s Futsal Super Cup for Pescados Rubén Burela and third in a row after defeating Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero 2-1 this Sunday at the Palacio de los Deportes in Jerez.

The Galician team was superior to the Madrid team, especially in the second half, when Lucas Cao’s men came from behind the goal obtained by Futsi in the first half.

In the initial period, Burela dominated until the equator with an intense rhythm and stepping on the Madrid court thanks to rapid penetrations.

Goalkeeper Marta Balbuena prevented the Galician goal with good saves from shots by Cami, Emilly, Cortés and Peque, the latter in two consecutive actions.

Dissatisfied, the Futsi coach, Andrés Sanz, asked for more strength and push his team in a timeout that changed the decoration.

From then on, Futsi took control until the break, with the Brazilian Oliveira intervening correctly with shots from Lorrana, Laura Córdoba and Anita Luján, although the rejection of this last shot made it the first goal of the match by María Sanz .

After the restart, Burela came out with impetus in search of an equalizer, closing in on Marta’s goal, who had to intervene with a great save on a shot by Emilly (m.21).

Immediately afterwards came the tie in a pen play, with theft by Irene Samper, a deadly pass by Emilly and a shot by Peque at an empty goal.

Futsi was not on the field and Burela, strengthened by the goal, scored the second in a left-footed shot by Cami (m.28).

With a good defense, help and generosity in the effort, the Galicians contained their opponents, who were still able to score in the last play of the match, in a shot by Ari to the post.
