The coach of the Bayern Munich, Hansi flick, admitted that his team has not had the best preparation for the semifinal of the Club World Cup that plays on Monday against the Al-ahly due to the delay of more than six hours in the trip to Doha but he added that “apologies are not worth it” for the goal of winning the tournament.
“We have not had the best preparation, there is no doubt about that. But the decisive thing is that we have arrived and the apologies are not worth it,” Flick said at the press conference.
“Naturally it would have been better if we could have moved a bit but the situation is what it is and we have done this morning what was scheduled for the day before. In the afternoon we will have the last training session and prepare the team for the match,” he added .
Regarding the rival, Flick pointed out that it is a highly variable team in attack and that it plays with very offensive sides.
“Naturally we have our idea of how we want to play. The first goal is to impose our game. But it is also important to keep the rival in mind and make one or another modification. Tomorrow it will be like that,” he explained regarding how he will raise the commitment.
“Yesterday's journey is past. It was not pleasant but we are looking forward. We want to go to the final with a victory tomorrow,” he added.
