The Fiorentina wants the legendary former player of Rome, Daniele De Rossi, who hung up his boots this year after his short-lived stint at Boca Juniors, is his new coach for next season, according to various Italian media. It would be his first experience as a coach, although he is endorsed by his great and extensive experience on the playing fields with 616 games disputed with the giallorosso club.
La Fiore wants De Rossi lead the next sports project in order to improve the results of this season, since the Italian team is located in the fourteenth position in the table of the A series, just six points from the relegation zone that Lecce (18th), SPAL (19th) and Brescia (20th) occupy right now.
Although De Rossi does not yet have the UEFA Pro manager's license, the 'viola' directive seeks radical change and they think the Italian is the right one. The former player was 18 seasons on the AS Rom
to (2001-2019) in addition to playing 117 matches with Italy and lifting the 2006 World Cup.
