Ferran Torres is very grateful to Barcelona for having opted for him in this winter market. He acknowledges that as a striker he may need to score more goals, but remembers that “in modern football more things are asked of a striker”.
How is the team?
Very motivated. The first time we played in this stadium.
And personally?
I feel the full confidence of the coach. I’m still adjusting.
Do you feel the pressure that a striker has to score goals?
Those of us who play upstairs have to give assists and score goals. For me the best thing is to score and I’m sure it’s also for the team.
Has Pedri’s level surprised you?
I’m not surprised. It is a luxury to see him train. He is going to be a player who is going to mark an era. And what surprises me is his humility. He is already one of the best players in the world.
What would you highlight about Xavi as a coach?
DNA, leadership and humility. Don’t put pressure on the players. It has been a big change for the club.
What would you highlight about Eintracht?
It is a very physical team.
Are you afraid to go out a little confident?
We plan all matches with the utmost humility. If it is lost, no one will remember it
What can the companions do so that Ousmane stays?
I would kidnap Dembélé for Barcelona. There is no better club for him.
