MADRID, 5 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Former international Fernando Torres is the star of the new Cervezas Victoria campaign to support the Spanish soccer team in the final phase of the third edition of the League of Nations, which takes place in the Netherlands from June 14 to 18, and with which he announces the renewal of the sponsorship with the RFEF.
Before the Final Four of the League of Nations in the Netherlands, Cervezas Victoria launches the ‘Communiqué’ campaign, an audiovisual piece that once again features former player Fernando Torres as the protagonist and in which it aims to show the commitment of the Spanish fans to ‘The Red’.
To do this, it collects messages full of support and confidence towards the national team from different corners of Spain, despite the sporting setbacks that the fans may have suffered as reflected in this campaign.
Spain once again has the chance to become champion of a new international title. And in exchange for the strong support shown by the fans, there is only one non-negotiable condition: any player who represents the national shirt must ‘give up his life to achieve Victory’.
Fernando Torres is once again the figure chosen by Cervezas Victoria to convey this message to the players of Luis de la Fuente’s team, after having been international with ‘La Roja’ in 110 games and having scored 38 goals.
Likewise, Torres represents the values of the national team, since the former soccer player for Atlético de Madrid, Liverpool and, among others, Chelsea received the Gold Medal of the Royal Order of Sports Merit from the Government in 2011.
This spot has been devised by the creative agency Jon Lavin and directed by Santiago Zannou, Goya Award winner in 2009. The piece takes place in different locations in Spain such as the RFEF Ciudad del Fútbol facilities in Las Rozas and those in Boadilla del Mount in Madrid; Port of Vega and Oviedo, in Asturias and Ojén, in the province of Malaga, among others.
The spot will last 60 seconds, it will be broadcast on television, digital platforms, social networks, on the Cervezas Victoria website and also on the profile of Fernando Torres and the RFEF.
