Felix Götze from Augsburg tests positive for coronavirus

The defender Felix Götze of Augsburg German gave coronavirus positive reason why it will have to enter in quarantine and it will not be able to participate in the first training sessions of his team for the next season.

The club reported that the player, 22, the brother of world champion Mario Götze, has no symptoms and has had no contact with his teammates since he returned from his vacation during which he was infected.

Götze will return to training once he tests negative in two consecutive tests of coronavirus.

The Augsburg defender is the second Bundesliga player to test positive since last May, when activities resumed after the stoppage forced by the pandemic. The other case was Swiss Kevin Mbabu of Wolfsburg.
