Traveling week for the King and Queen on the dates prior to the Princess of Asturias Awards. Felipe VI and Doña Letizia will make a state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on October 17, 18 and 19. This trip responds to the invitation of the president, Frank Walter Steinmeier.
During their stay, the King and Queen will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares; the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto; and the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta.
In addition to the institutional part in the capital, the program includes a visit to Frankfurt for the opening of the Book Fair, in which Spain is the guest country, and a visit to the European Central Bank, as announced by Foreign Affairs in a note.
