Felipe VI acts as host with Alberto de Mónaco and invites him to eat at Zarzuela

Felipe VI This Saturday he offered a lunch at the Zarzuela palace to the prince Albert of Monaco. The meeting between both monarchs takes place on the occasion of the trip that the husband of Charlene will undertake this Sunday to Cantabria.

Once there, and with the Cantabrian president Miguel Angel Revilla As host, Carolina de Mónaco’s brother will visit the Monte Castillo caves and the new Puente Viesgo Rock Art Center, which will open next year.

Before his lunch with the head of state, the Monegasque sovereign went to the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). There, he was present at an act in which his great-great-grandfather, Prince Albert I, sovereign of Monaco from September 10, 1889 to June 26, 1922, was honored.

In 2019, Letizia’s husband received Alberto II as sovereign for the first time in the Zarzuela. It was the beginning of an approach that this Saturday, October 15, has taken a second step after their differences.
