Felipe Melo charges again against Chiellini

Felipe Melo doesn't cut himself off every time he has a chance to speak. The Palmeiras midfielder, recently qualified for the Copa Libertadores final, gave an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport in which he had several former members among his 'targets'. The main one was Giorgio Chiellini, with whom he shared a dressing room at Juventus and with whom he has already had several dialectical clashes in the past.

“It is a Juventus banner but, unfortunately, it is always hurting. In football, what happens in the locker room stays there. His teammates should be afraid of him because if he talked about someone who played for the national team with him, maybe tomorrow he could talk about someone with whom he shares the field today, “said the Brazilian about the words that 'Chiello' wrote from his autobiography in reference to Balotelli and to Melo himself, whom he described as a “rotten apple”.

“In Brazil we call it ethics. If it doesn't have it, it's a problem. I have ethics and that's why I don't speak ill of it. I support you. I hope he wins an international tournament and thus be happier in his career “, added the midfielder with a high dose of irony.

De Boer, next goal

Felipe Melo also spoke about Frank De Boer's time at Inter as coach. The player assures that he respects him, but does not hesitate to criticize everything that was his time there.

“There were players who did not play anything and could have done well in another team. De Boer did not do well at Inter. You can't say he's a shitty coach, you can't say he's bad, I respect him as a person. When he arrived, I was playing and I went from playing to not playing. I can't tell him it's bad just for not making me play. It was his decision. He was a great player, but at Inter (as a coach) he didn't do well. He did an incredible shit. He didn't know a word of Italian. But is it his fault or that of whoever puts him there? “, He assured about the Dutchman who only lined up 184 minutes.
