Fátima Gálvez hangs gold in the President’s Cup and completes her great year

MADRID, 23 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish shooter Fátima Gálvez this Saturday hung the gold medal in the Olympic pit test of the World Cup, the so-called President’s Cup, after winning the final of a test held in the Cypriot town of Larnaca.

Gálvez, who overcame the semifinals with great authority, was the most successful in the final with the success of 32 targets out of 35. His mark was unattainable for the rest of the rivals, who did not exceed 29. That figure gave silver to the American Kayle Browning and bronze for the Russian Daria Semianova.

The Baena athlete, who won Olympic gold with Alberto Fernández in the last Tokyo Games, thus completes an unforgettable year after adding a new title to her lofty record.
