Farah and Cabal confirm their participation in the US Open 2020

Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah are ready for their return. The couple of Colombian tennis players, who currently occupy the first place in the ATP ranking, confirmed its participation in the US Open 2020, which will be played from August 31 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.

The tennis players will return to compete after five months. His last game occurred on March 7 in Bogotá against Máximo González and Horacio Zeballos in the David Cup Qualifiers between Colombia and Argentina. The dubbers won the victory with sets 6-3, 6-7 and 7-5 and helped qualify for the finals in Madrid in which they make up Group E along with the United States and Italy.

The Colombians return to the US Open as the current champions of the tournament. In 2019 they kept the title after beating Argentina's Horacio Zeballos 6-4 and 7-5 and Spain's Marcel Granollers in the final. This will be the ninth time that the tennis players have played as a couple, only in 2017 they were not together: Cabal played with Leonardo Mayer, while Farah was absent due to injury.
