MADRID, 1 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Elche’s Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce, on loan last year 2021-22 from Spartak Moscow, has signed for the next four seasons with the Elche team, the Franjiverde club announced in a statement on Wednesday.

The franjiverde team had a purchase option on the Argentine striker that expired this Tuesday, May 31 and that, finally, they have decided to execute. Thus, Ezequiel Ponce has become an Elche player until 2026, as announced by the club itself.

Ezequiel Ponce arrived at Elche in the winter market, gradually joining the team after overcoming a knee injury and ending the season as a starter. The 25-year-old Argentine played 13 games and scored just one goal, which served to give his team three points on the day of his debut at the Martínez Valero against Rayo Vallecano.
