Extremadura is kept alive thanks to creditors

Extremadura UD has managed to save a new match ball. The club’s creditors’ meeting de Almendralejo, held this Wednesday at the Commercial Court of Badajoz, supported, with 68%, the payment agreement proposed by the club and that will allow you to face the debt in the next ten years.

Being positive news for the club chaired by Manuel Franganillo, This agreement only affects the debt prior to the start of the bankruptcy, so it has nothing to do with the call for a strike by the staff that was known this Tuesday for defaults suffered since the beginning of this season.

What the Extremaduran club does hope is that this support obtained by creditors will serve as an incentive to the supposed investor which must send the money signed at the end of last year between Extremadura and the Spanish firm Khalifa Capital. An economic injection that would serve to save the “mass credit”, the debt contracted since the signing of the bankruptcy until today. That it does include the payment to the players, coaching staff and workers of the entity.
