Paco Jémez, coach of UD Ibiza, has already made it clear on more than one occasion that he has all the players on his squad and that no one can feel essential. The Cordovan coach has fulfilled it with facts, since with him the 25 players who currently make up the first team of the sky-blue team have already enjoyed minutes. He wants everyone to feel part of a very long season, in which there are still many games and great challenges to be met.
Until the match against Ponferradina, played last Sunday at El Tolarín, there was only one player left to enjoy minutes with Jémez. It was the extreme Raúl Sánchez, in that match he debuted in the silver category of Spanish football participating with 25 minutes. The player, who arrived in the last winter market from Rayo Majadahonda of the First RFEF, made his debut in professional football and his contribution was positive.
In fact, players who did not have a leading role with Jémez seem to have consolidated in the starting eleven in the last two games. This is the case of goalkeeper Germán Parreño, who has taken over the role from Álex Domínguez, who was the one who started the second round after the arrival of the new coach. It will be necessary to see if Jémez keeps Germán in a position, that of the goal, in which rotations are rare.
Fran Grima is also experiencing a sweet moment, who for the moment has established himself on the right side to the detriment of Cifuentes. In addition, he has also played the last two Morillas clashes, which accumulates 26 minutes with Jémez. The Murcian entered as a central defender against Ponferradina to replace the injured Rubén, although until now he has not enjoyed the title role that he did have with Juan Carlos Carcedo, the previous coach.
The player who has enjoyed the most minutes this season with Ibiza is defender David Goldar. He has accumulated 2,462 minutes in his legs, spread over 28 games (of which 26 have been in LaLiga SmartBank and 2 in the Copa del Rey). He missed the match against Ponferradina due to injury and could reappear this Saturday against Leganés.
