Eugenia Martínez de Irujo avoids Fran Rivera on her daughter Tana's big night

Night of emotions in Las Ventas. This Thursday the poster for the San Isidro Fair 2024 was presented with an exceptional protagonist: Tana Rivera. The daughter, niece, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of bullfighters, she has become the new muse of the festival by starring in the poster of the year with a fabulous Andalusian design by Lorenzo Caprile. The young woman, who has also collected the Youth and Bullfighting award, has been accompanied by her boyfriend, Manuel Vegaher friend Victoria Federicaand his parents, Frank Rivera y Eugenia Martínez de Irujo.

The bullfighter and the aristocrat have reunited publicly after the interview that Fran Rivera gave a few weeks ago in Friday, where he accused his daughter's mother of harassing him during their court battle for Tana's custody. Some words that did not sit well with the Duchess of Montoro, who had maintained a cordial relationship with her ex in recent years. Eugenia did not attend the last parade Lourdes Montes at Flamenco Fashion Week, as she did in previous editions, a sign that she prefers to keep her distance for the moment.

This Thursday they have not gotten together either, not even to pose in the photocall with their daughter. In fact, Eugenia did not want uncomfortable encounters with Fran and Lourdes Montes and she has made sure not to have them arrive last at Las Ventas. She has done it hand in hand with her husband, Narcís Rebollo.

Victoria Federica has presented the award to her friend, thus passing on the baton, since she collected it last year. After melting into a hug on stage, Tana excitedly delivered her speech: “At the time I learned to speak, I went around the ring in my father's arms. I shared his dreams, his efforts to succeed the next day. Over the years I understood that what I had experienced was only available to a few.”

A multitude of personalities attended the event, both from the world of bullfighting (Cayetano Rivera, Ortega Cano…), from business (Pedro Trapote) or from politics (Díaz Ayuso and Martínez Almeida, among others).
