More than seven months later, Espanyol fans will be able to watch a match of their team live. The perico club will open the Ciudad Deportiva this Sunday for about 250 members, who will be able to access the premiere of the subsidiary in Second B (12:00 before El Prat) and the third day of the Women's (12:30, Deportivo). In this way, the entity wants to begin to normalize the presence of its partners in the competitions that take place at the moment in the Sport City.
Espanyol has created a very limited access system. Members must first sign up on the club's website for each of the matches this Sunday. Then, once the deadline has expired this Friday at 12:00, the fans who have the longest service as club members will be awarded. Those selected will automatically receive their invitation by email and with it they will be able to access the venue on Sunday.
Obviously, the club will carry out extensive security measures to respect the protocols, such as temperature control at the entrance and other usual measures, such as assigning one hour of access to each fan to avoid small crowds and the use of a mask.
The measure coincides with a delicate moment in Catalonia. The Generalitat has approved a series of restrictions that will come into force this Friday, such as the closure of bars or restaurants or the suspension of Catalan sports competitions.
