Eric García had to leave the game on a stretcher after a blow with his partner Ederson. The 19-year-old defender was retreating to his area and did not see the goalkeeper exit, who cleared Eric ahead.
The Spanish was immobilized on the ground – 11 minutes were added in the second half – and was removed on a stretcher by the club's doctors. They had to put oxygen on him and he lost a tooth, but he is conscious. Manchester City could not make any changes because they had already made all five.
Concern for Eric Garcia who took a big hit from Ederson. Both players chasing the ball over and it was a nasty, accidental collision ???? Eric receiving lengthy treatment.
