Eleven of day 41 of the Diario AS in LaLiga SmartBank

The penultimate LaLiga SmartBank conference had eleven protagonists which we detail below. Dani Ojeda (Albacete), Stuani (Girona), Rubén Castro (Las Palmas) and Rafa Mir (Huesca) made doubles (the latter also gave an assist). Tomeu Nadal (Albacete) saved a penalty. Kike Carrasco (Extremadura) scored a goal and gave another.

Goalkeeper

Tomeu Nadal (Albacete)

Albacete had three vital points in their match against Zaragoza, with an outstanding performance by their goalkeeper Tomeu Nadal. The Manacorí had missed the last three games and returned with a sensational performance. To highlight, his penalty stopped Burgui, with a great stretch.

Defenses

Juande (Malaga)

Málaga achieved mathematical salvation with a great performance by the defense, the least scored in the category. Juande, who in the return of soccer has been finding more prominence, stood out above the rest with a perfect match. Their numbers left: five punts, four interceptions, three innings and eleven of 14 duels won.

Gorosito (Albacete)

The Argentine central defender released his scoring account of the season at the most opportune moment. His goal made it 2-0 for Albacete in their match against Zaragoza, picking up a rebound inside the area. Bad luck came in the 25th minute, when he had to be substituted for injury. Albacete depends on himself again.

Pedro López (Huesca)

The veteran winger gave a defensive recital against Numancia, in the match in which the Huescans achieved promotion to First Division. In the match he emerged victorious from six of the nine duels in which he was involved and cleared three balls. He was able to round off his night in a distant auction that was about to enter if it were not for the success of Dani Barrio.

Midfielders

Carrasco (Extremadura)

Shield / Flag Extremadura UD

Extremadura, now without pressure, is finding its best game and even with victories. In the last one against Sporting, Kike Carrasco had a lot to do. First, with a goal after a powerful right hand from inside the area; and later, with an assistance to Pinchi. His night could have been perfect if the crossbar does not stop him from having scored the second of his own.

Merquelanz (Mirandés)

We have run out of adjectives for a long time to define the season that Merquelanz is marking in Mirandés. The winger once again showed his quality, this time in his team's victory against Deportivo. And he did it in one of his specialties: masterful free kick, in which Dani Giménez could not do anything despite his stretching.

José Rodríguez (Fuenlabrada)

José Rodríguez came out in the second part of the match against Elche and his contribution, in sight is, was essential. The midfielder premiered his scoring account of the season with a goal against him, in which he took advantage of a pass from José Fran. The definition of the Alicante before Edgar Badía was exquisite.

Ojeda (Albacete)

If both Tomeu Nadal and Gorosito had important roles in the victory against Zaragoza, Dani Ojeda's was the absolute protagonist with a double. And go two goals! The first was with a nice Vaseline before the departure of Cristian Álvarez. The second, with a powerful left-footed shot from inside the area that entered the entire squad.

Forwards

Stuani (Girona)

The top scorer of LaLiga SmartBank never tires of seeing the door. Against Cádiz, the Uruguayan scored a new double. In the first goal he was ready to take advantage of a Fali error and after haggling Cifuentes, he scored free of opposition. The second came from eleven meters. His account already totals 29 targets. Spectacular.

Rubén Castro (Las Palmas)

Rubén Castro's season finale is being spectacular. The Canarian striker saw the door double against Rayo, with two goals from the penalty spot. He has scored five goals in the last four games. In total he has 13 goals and that has only been present in 23 games this season.

Rafa Mir (Huesca)

Rafa Mir was the protagonist of the day by participating in all of Huesca's goals, in the most important game of the season: his promotion. Rounded goals double with the assistance of Okazaki's goal. The first of his goals came from the penalty spot; and the second after a rejection within the area.
