El Rayo qualifies as “irrational” the anti-violence sanction proposal

He Lightning
Vallecano qualified as “irrational“the proposed sanction of Anti-violence, which proposes a fine of 60.001euros to the club for deficiencies that he describes as “very serious” in last season's match against Albacete, which began on December 15, 2019.

The match had to be suspended at half-time due to the chants that a sector of the fans of the Madrid team dedicated to the Ukrainian forward Roman
Zozulia, accused of being “Nazi”. The meeting resumed on June 10 behind closed doors after the break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Rayo winning the final 1-0.

This sanction proposal, as Antiviolencia recalls in a statement, was pending resolution since then. The Commission finally agrees to “propose a penalty fee for the Rayo Vallecano club of Madrid of 60,001 euros, due to its qualification (of the facts) of 'very serious'.

Rayo Vallecano, through his social networks, described as “irrational the sanction proposal, “revealed that his” legal department is already working to clarify and demonstrate the truth of what happened“and advanced that” next week will convene a Press conference”.

The deficiencies recorded in said meeting are related to the measures of access control of the spectators and with the breach of the provisions of the governmental authorities when allowing the introduction and deployment, in different phases of the first part of the meeting, of four banners of large dimensions, without having previously informed the Security Coordinator and without providing the certificates of being made with fireproof materials.
