Eintracht wins through the first round of the German Cup

MADRID, 1 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Madrid’s rival on August 10 in the European Super Cup, surpassed the first round of the German Cup on Monday by beating Magdeburg 0-4, in what was their first official match of the season 2022-2023.

The champion of the Europa League continues with his good filming to measure himself next week in Helsinki against the Madrid team, which he will face with two competitive matches already in his legs since he will open the Bundesliga against Bayern on Friday, in what will be a good touchstone for Oliver Glasner’s.

The cupbearer debut had two protagonists for the visitors: the Japanese Daichi Kamada and the goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. The former signed a brace, with the former scoring after four minutes, and the latter saved a penalty from Andreas Müller shortly after, whose rebound sent Leon Bell Bell off the crossbar.

Eintracht, however, did not forgive and Jesper Lindstrom made it 0-2 after half an hour and gave more peace of mind to the visitors who sentenced their pass to the second cup round after the break with another goal from Kamada and another from Argentine Lucas Alario , one of his reinforcements for this campaign along with Mario Goetze, who played 79 minutes.
